Gave my first paper on 'Curating the Personal: what problems arise in curating feminist maternal art practice?' at ProCreate's series of talks on Mother-Artists: Did We Become Our Own Audience?

Lots of food for thought, lots of Mother-Artists present!

Leila and I (and my left breast) made our debut on Channel 4 this evening!
Picture
We were extras in a small independent short film of poet Hollie McNish's poem "embarrassed" which aired on Channel 4.  Having curated a small art exhibition about breastfeeding last year which included Hollie McNish's poem, I returned the favour and volunteered when Hollie had a call out for extras.

Hope Leila's not embarrassed when she's older - that would truly miss the point!

I'm featured in the recent Greenbelt film Nomads. You can also see some great shots of my volunteer team working with artist Joel Baker.

Nomads
This film was made by Black Matter on location at Boughton House near Kettering at Greenbelt's first festival there in 2014. It features the voices of Pip Herbert (long-serving site vibing volunteer), Hilary Blake (Greenbelter), Rory Butler (returning singer-songwriter), Sekai Makoni (newbie Greenbelter), John Bell (Greenbelt institution), Ellie Rose (debutante singer-songwriter) and Grace Acton (visual arts programme coordinator).
